Making entrepreneurship accessible for all
The Rajasthan government has also taken a step to empower women entrepreneurs by expanding the benefits of Vishwakarma Udyami Protsahan Yojana, a scheme announced in the 2024- 2025 state budget.
Margin money assistance
To reduce upfront costs, the government is also offering margin money support of up to ₹1,00,000 or 25% of the loan amount. This provision is particularly beneficial for women who lack collateral or capital to kickstart their entrepreneurial journey.
Big-ticket loans for women entrepreneurs
Women entrepreneurs, along with youth, can now apply for loans up to ₹2,00,00,000 under the scheme to make borrowing more affordable. The state government will also provide interest subsidies. Along with that, women entrepreneurs will receive an extra 1% interest for loans above ₹1,00,00,000.
Creating opportunities for women-led MSMEs
Officials believe that the scheme will also encourage women to set up their own manufacturing units or start-ups in emerging fields. By bridging the financial gap, the government is also hoping to foster a new generation of women entrepreneurs who will contribute to Rajasthan’s economic Road.
