A wave of innovation and entrepreneurial spirit was on full display as twelve women-led startups reached the finals of the TiE Chandigarh Women Global Pitch Competition. The semi-final event, held during the Parivartan Ka Utsav – Udaan, highlighted groundbreaking ventures across healthcare, education, technology, and community development.
Healthcare Innovations Lead the Spotlight
Several finalists stood out for their innovative contributions to healthcare:
Herbal Nano Booster: A novel herbal nanoformula designed to enhance wellness solutions and make them more accessible.
Portable Ocular Device: An affordable, integrated eye-care device aimed at improving vision care in rural and underserved regions.
These initiatives demonstrate the growing influence of women entrepreneurs in addressing pressing healthcare challenges and making solutions available to wider populations.
Supporting Women Entrepreneurs
The competition initially received 53 applications. After a rigorous screening process and a mentoring bootcamp, 35 ventures were shortlisted for the semi-finals. Most participants came from Punjab, with others representing Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir. The pitches highlighted creativity, problem-solving, and a strong drive to create social and economic impact.

The Road Ahead
The grand finale will be held on September 29 at ISB Mohali, where the top six startups will compete for cash prizes totaling ₹5 lakh. The winning venture will also earn a place at the TiE Women Global Pitch Competition 2026 in Jaipur, gaining international recognition and new opportunities for growth.
